PlusNet home broadband from £5.99 a month for up to 8Mb

PlusNet have revamped their broadband packages - and you can now get PlusNet Broadband from only £5.99 a month for their PlusNet Value Broadband package or £11.99 a month for their PlusNet Unlimited broadband package!

Both PlusNet broadband packages have up to 8Mb broadband download speeds - and come with a wireless router.

The PlusNet broadband prices above are for the first 3 months. After that, the price you pay is dependent on your location (or more specifically, your BT exchange):

PlusNet Broadband Value is £5.99 a month for all customers for the first 3 months. The ongoing price is then £5.99 a month or £11.99 a month depending on location. It has a 10GB monthly usage allowance.

PlusNet Broadband Unlimited is £11.99 a month for all customers for the first 3 months. The ongoing price is then £15.99 a month or £19.99 a month depending on location. There is no monthly limit to the amount of data a customer can use, although management is applied to some traffic at certain times of the day.

Are you eligible for the cheaper PlusNet broadband rates? If your BT exchange has a Market 3 exchange clasification, you should be eligible. And the good news is that PlusNet believe around 80% of households will find that their exchange is Market 3 classification.

You can check your telephone exchange classification here - enter the details requested, click on your area exchange, and the results page will include a box called Ofcom Classification. Got Market 3 in this box? If so then you should be eligible for the cheaper PlusNet Broadband prices.

BT Broadband price cut if you buy online

Sign up for BT Broadband Option 1 online, on an 18 month contract, and pay only £4.95 per month for the first three months (then £15.99 per month).

There are also special cheap broadband introductory prices for BT broadband Option 2 and Option 3 (also on an 18 month contract, for online sales only).

All BT Broadband packages have download speeds of up to 8Mbps, and Option 2 and Option 3 also come with a FREE BT HomeHub.

Virgin Media broadband £4.50

Virgin Media, the cable broadband provider, is still offering cable Size M broadband up to 2Mbps for only £4.50 a month when you take a phone package too (which start at only £11 a month).

Just want Size M broadband-only ? The same up to 2Mbps cable broadband deal is only £10 a month for 6 months (then £18 a month).

Or if you want to go superfast, sign up for Virgin Media Size XL, with broadband speeds of up to 20Mbps - only £10 a month for 3 months when taken with phone package. Size XL Broadband-only is £29 a month for 6 months then £37 a month.

02 Broadband extends offer

02 have previously offered reduced price 02 broadband to their 02 pay-monthly mobile customers. Now they have extended this cheap broadband offer to 02 prepay mobile customers too.

This means up to 8Mb 02 broadband for £7.50 a month, up to 16Mb 02 broadband for £10 a month, and superfast up to 20Mb 02 broadband for only £15 a month.

02 broadband prices for non 02 mobile customers are £5 a month more.

Madasafish broadband under £10 a month

Broadband provider Madasafish is offering up to 8 meg broadband for only £9.99 a month for six months on its Madasafish Broadband Max package.

After that, the price goes up to £14.99 per month. The broadband deal includes a monthly download allowance of 5GB, a free wireless kit and free connection.

Orange offers half price broadband

Looking for a great deal on broadband? Orange Broadband are currently offering half price broadband for six months on Orange Broadband Starter and Orange Broadband Max .
