We all use the Internet on a daily basis, but for some, the Internet can be a confusing world of jargon and terminology some people are very foreign to. The Internet has the ability to carry several different applications, including electronic mail, online chat, file transfer and file sharing, online gambling and various forms of hypertext available on the World Wide Web (WWW).

It has been said that the Internet is the biggest technological advancement for consumer use to ever come about. It would be tough to argue with this statement seeing the amount of time and how dependent we as a society have become on the Internet. As we progress through the 21st century, it’s hard to think that the Internet will not become more and more a daily part and routine in our lives, as it already has. It’s best to learn how to use the Internet to your advantage and to its full potential in order to truly maximize its capabilities.
