Tiscali cuts broadband contract length

Tiscali broadband has cut the standard contract on its broadband packages and bundles from 18 months to only 12 months.

Tiscali broadband starts at only £6.49 a month for three months - for up to 8Mb download speeds.

02 have cut the the prices of their standard broadband packages. Until 30 April 2008, prices for non-02 mobile pay-monthly customers will be £5 a month less.

• 02 Broadband Standard - up to 8 meg with unlimited usage, standard price now only £12.50 per month (was £17.50)
  
• 02 Broadband Premium - up to 16 meg with unlimited usage, standard price £15.00 per month (was £20)
  
• 02 broadband Ultimate - up to 20 meg with unlimited usage, standard price £20 per month (was £25)
