Business mobile broadband

Mobile broadband is ideal for business use - especially small businesses where your set-up may mean you don't have an office, or you have to work when away from it.

Luckily lots of mobile providers are now offering mobile business broadband. it doesn't have to ber expensive either - currently Vodafone Mobile Business Broadband are offering a package for only £12.77 per month (excluding VAT). many business mobile broadband packages also include a FREE USB modem or modem stick or dongle, making it easy to start using your mobile broadband quickly.

Business mobile broadband speeds go up to 7.2Mbps too (depending on package, location, etc).

with this in mind I have created a new business mobile broadband page on my broadband comparison website where you can browse mobile business broadband packages from T Mobile and Vodafone.

While you're there, why not visit my business broadband section - it has a business broadband checker, business broadband offers and other tools and broadband information.

Eclipse Business SDSL offer

Need a tough broadband service for your business? Eclipse has a great offer on its SDSL business packages.

Sign up for
SDSL 500, SDSL 1000, SDSL 2000 from Eclipse and enjoy free set-up and a free router with Eclipse Business SDSL - save £444! This free connection offer applies for a limited period until further notice saving you £315. Where applicable a free router applies for a limited period until further notice saving you £129. These are limited time offers.
View Eclipse SDSL now.

What is SDSL - and do you need it?
SDSL stands for Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line.
The symmetric aspect means that data can be transmitted at the same speed both up and down the line. The bandwidth requirements of an SDSL line, and the copper wire SDSL is transmitted over, mean that an SDSL line can only be used for data transmission (not both phone and broadband on the same line).

SDSL packages are more robust than, and more expensive than, ADSL business broadband packages. They are suitable for businesses that need a very reliable, high speed connection with good upload speeds (for example, for high-bandwidth services such as VoIP).

Broadband FAQs

If you're finding the world of broadband a bit confusing don't worry because help is at hand.

On my broadband comparison website www.ukbroadbandfinder.com there is a big broadband frequently asked questions section where you can find out what is ADSL, the difference between a Meg and a Gig, and, if you're really interested, what local loop unbundling is.

There are also links to a load of broadband articles and on-site broadband blog posts I've written about broadband and related issues, so you can find out more and feel that bit more confident whether you're looking for your first broadband package, or if you're switching broadband provider.

There is also separate section on business broadband FAQs too.
