Comparing broadband gets easier

Do you find that the thought of trawling through loads of broadband packages puts you off finding or switching to a great broadband deal?

Visit www.ukbroadbandfinder.com, where you can compare broadband in your area.
You could already search on home or business broadband, and opt to view summary or full package information.

Well, now you can also search just broadband bundles, or just broadband-only packages, so you can narrow down your broadband search from your first click of the Find button.

Don't worry, if you just want to see eveything broadband available in your area you can select All and view bundles and standalone broadband packages.

And to make it even easier, you can also filter broadband packages on your results page - there's a dropdown at the top of the page that lets you filter on speed, price, broadband type, and alphabetical provider.

So visit www.ukbroadbandfinder.com now and find the best broadband deal for you.

Getting started with broadband

New to broadband and not sure which broadband package to sign up to?

Visit my broadband comparison website www.ukbroadbandfinder.com and check out my new article for people just starting out with broadband.
With so many broadband packages and ISPs out there it can be confusing to know where to start - and then how to narrow down your search, particularly if you live in an urban area and have access to loads of different broadband providers and types of broadband (ADSL, cable...)

New to broadband helps you work out what you want from your broadband package - so you don't end up paying for facilities or extras that you don't need.

Then compare broadband in your area with our broadband avialability checker.

Compare broadband packages today

Orange released a report this week that found that 61% of UK households couldn't live without their broadband connection.

You can read more about this study on my UK Broadband News blog.

Are you one of the remaining 39%? If you haven't yet got broadband, or you are with a broadband provider but you want to switch to a faster or cheaper package, visit my broadband comparison website www.ukbroadbandfinder.com. Use the free broadband checker to find broadband availability in your area by searching on your BT phone number or postcode.

Broadband-only packages start at only £8.95 a month, for BT Option 1. Or if you're after speed rather than the cheapest package, check out Be (up to 24 meg), UK Online (up to 22 meg), or Virgin Media (up to 20 meg, rolling out in some areas this summer).

I started this post with Orange - and they now offer broadband as well as mobile phones:
  • Broadband Starter is only £14.99 per month for up to 2 meg, and comes with a 30 day money-back guarantee, useful if you're new to broadband.
  • Orange Broadband Unlimited is £19.99 a month for up to 8 meg, and includes unlimited downloads (subject to a fair use policy). Plus unlimited UK and international landline calls.
